Sylva Koscina.

그녀는 1933년 유고슬라비아에서 태어났다.

독일군과 소련군의 침략으로 쑥대밭이 된 암울한 조국에서 자라났으며 종전후에 이탈리아로 이주하였다.

나폴리대학 재학중에 각종 미인대회에 입상하였으며 영화에 데뷔하기전에 패션모델로 활동하였다.

첫  데뷔 영화는 "Are We Men or Corporals? (1955)으로 당시 유명 배우인 Toto와 공연하였고 초기엔 희극영화에

몇차례 출연하였으나 1958년에 제작된  Hercules 에서 Steve Reeves와 공연함으로서 차츰 미모와 함께

명성을 얻기 시작하였다.










Sylva Koscina는 아름다운 육체미로 1950~1960년대에 관능적인 포즈로 많은 영화에 출연하였다.

영화 "Hercules" 의 성공으로 국제적인 스타의 반열에 올라선 Koscina.

그녀는 이후, Jessica (1962: Angie Dickinson, Maurice Chevalier), Hot Enough for June

(1964: Dirk Bogarde), Three Bites of the Apple (1967; David McCallum, Tammy Grimes),

Hornets' Nest (1970;  Rock Hudson) 등의 영화로 쟁쟁한 배우들과 공연하였다.

이후 60년대 말경의 He and She (1969;  Laurence Harvey), The House of Exorcism

(1973; Telly Savalas, Elke Sommer) 등의 영화에서는 누드로 출연하였고 기타 영화에도 다수 출연하였다.

한마디로 1960~70년대에 육체파 여배우로서 명성을 날리고 1975년 42세의 나이에도
이태리 영화 "Playboy"에 누드로 출연한 그녀는 1994년 마지막 영화인 "Kim Novak is on the Phone"에 출연하였고 그 해, 61세의 나이로 심장병으로 사망하였다.
