아래 포스팅은 한국전쟁 직후인 1954~1955년 까지 미군장교로 한국전선에서 美8군 소속의
619 탄약보급부대에서 복무한 Peter Scheonberger씨가 촬영한 것으로 질곡스러웠던
그 시절, 우리네의 일상과 주한미군들의 모습이 Korean Tour-Set 1 March 1955의 제목으로
약 500여 매에 달하는 사진이 다양하게 수록되어 있다.

 

아래에 그가 작성한 flickr photostream에서 그의 이름을 묻는 필자의 질문에 그는 이렇게 답변했다.

 

This is a photo of me in 1954. At the time I was Executive Officer of 619th Ordnance Co. (Ammo) at ASP 76.
Names of villages have changed over the years and I w still would like to know exactly where this was on a map.
I was in South Korea last year but couldn't find the exact spot.
