The first world war in the photos, In the sky


The first world war was the first major conflict in which widely used aircraft, invented by a little more than a decade before the outbreak of war.
Airplanes, kites, along with tethered-based aerial surveillance system and dirigibles, ensure all basic kinds of forces new tactical capabilities for Scouting and attack enemy troops from the air.
