사람들이 주요 교통수단으로서 말을 이용한 것은 그다지 오래 된 일은 아니다.
자동차가 없었던 백년 전 사람들은 말을 이용했었다.
오늘날, 그러한 장면은 서부영화에서나 볼 수 있을 뿐, 사람들은 기술의 발달로 엄청난 교통문화를 누리고 있다.
불과 몇십년 전만 하더라도 교통수단으로서 말을 이용한 사람들이 믿을 수 없으리 만큼 날으는 자동차가
도래한 시대이다.
백년 전 대도시의 사진들은 매우 희귀하여 사람들이 거의 보지 못했을 것이나 오늘날 인터넷에서는 그다지
어렵지 않게 볼 수 있다.
