I am most touched by your decision to post my photos on your website.
You may be interested to know that I was invited back to Korea in 1996 to lecture to the Korean Army War College in Taegu.
While in Seoul, I was privileged to take part in a commemoration of the war at the Korean War Memorial.

아울러 지난 1996년에 정부의 초청으로 대구에 있는 육군대학에서 강의도 하며 서울 체류중에
전쟁기념관에서 참전용사로서 귀빈 대접을 받았음도 밝히고 있습니다.
우리는 대한민국 국민으로서 한국전쟁 당시 참전용사에 대한 고마움과 희생된 UN軍에 대하여
진정한 고마움을 느끼며 깊이 감사를 드려야 할 것입니다.
Bevin Alexander씨는 10여 권의 전쟁사에 관한 저서를 저술하기도 했습니다.

About Bevin
- He is a specialist on military strategy.
- His book, Lost Victories, was chosen by the Civil War Book Review as one of the seventeen books that have most transformed Civil War scholarship.
- He was commander of the 5th Historical Detachment in the Korean War, and received three battle stars for service in the combat zone, 1951-1952. He also received the Commendation Medal for his work as a combat historian.
- He was formerly director of information and editor of the alumni magazine at the University of Virginia.
- He is a retired adjunct professor of history at Longwood University.
