50년대 스타, Audie Murphy

Audle Murphy (1924 ~ 1971)


텍사스의 킹스턴에서 출생. 

1942년 18세의 나이로 軍에 입대하여 제2차 세계대전에서 혁혁한 공을 세우고 최고의 전쟁영웅으로

많은 잡지의 커버를 장식 하였다.

당시의 인기 영화배우였던 James Cagney를 모방하던 그는 Hollywood 에 진출하여  1948년 " Beyond Glory"에서

Alan Ladd 와  처음으로 출연하였다.

1949년 "Bad boy"와  자신의 자서전的인 " To Hell and back (지옥의 전선) " 에 주연으로 출연하기도 했다.
