My name is Bond, James Bond...
1962년도에 007영화의 첫번째 작품인 007 Dr. NO(국내에서는 007 살인번호라는 제목으로 상영되었다.)가
방영된지 수십년 동안 지금까지 상영된 007 시리즈의 제임스본드 역할의 주인공이 여러 명 바뀌었는데
그 중에 꼭 나오는 대사가 있다.
바로 " My name is Bond, James Bond..."
From Russia with Love (1963)
Sean Connery
The original James Bond - and arguably the best - was Sean Connery, who accepted a license
to kill from 1962 to 1971, plus a final "unofficial" Bond film in 1983. His Bond movies included "Dr. No" (1962),
"From Russia with Love" (1963), "Goldfinger" (1964), "Thunderball" (1965), "You Only Live Twice" (1967),
"Diamonds are Forever" (1971) and the 1983 version "Never Say Never Again."
George Lazenby
"On Her Majesty's Secret Service" (여왕폐하의 007)
Actor George Lazenby was the second James Bond and starred in only one film, "On Her Majesty's Secret Service" in 1969.
In that movie, Bond got married, only to become a widower by the end of the flick. Lazenby couldn't live up
to the larger-than-life Connery Bond and backed out of a seven-year contract to do more Bond films.
Producer Albert R. Broccolli asked Connery to return to the role and paid him $1.25 million plus 12.5 percent
of the film's profits. Connery was back.
"Octopussy" (1983)
Roger Moore
Sean Connery passed the torch to , who donned the Walther PPK in his first Bond film,
"Live and Let Die" in 1973.
Roger Moore became the quintessential James Bond for a new generation, playing 007 for 12 years.
His films consisted of: "The Man with the Golden Gun" (1974), "The Spy Who Loved Me" (1977),
"Moonraker" (1979), "For Your Eyes Only" (1981), "Octopussy" (1983) and "A View to a Kill" (1985).
Regrettably, according to some critics, Moore overstayed his welcome - playing the role well into his 50s.
Timothy Dalton The Living Daylights (1983)
Actor Timothy Dalton replaced an aging Roger Moore in the release of 1987's "The Living Daylights.
" Dalton's James Bond was originally supposed to be played by Pierce Brosnan, but NBC renewed
his contract for a fifth season of "Remington Steele" and Brosnan was out, at least for a while.
Dalton signaled a return to a more rough and tough Bond style.
However, public reaction to Dalton as Bond was somewhat mixed.
Dalton's only other Bond film was "Licence to Kill" (1989).
Dalton left the role prior to his third film, which was scheduled to be shot then released in 1991.
007 Golden Eye
Pierce Brosnan
Pierce Brosnan got a second chance at Bond-dom in 1995 when he starred as Agent 007 in "Golden Eye."
Brosnan was a hit, and many argued that he was the best Bond since Connery.
Brosnan played Bond three more times: "Tomorrow Never Dies" (1997), "The World Is Not Enough" (1999),
and "Die Another Day" (2002). Brosnan was reportedly fired from the role prior to his fifth film as Bond.
Quantum of Solace
Daniel Craig
This brings us to the sixth, and most current Bond, Daniel Craig.
On Oct. 14, 2005, Craig was named the new Agent 007.
He starred as Bond in 2006's "Casino Royale," and returns in 2008's "Quantum of Solace."
Craig is the first blond actor to play Bond and only the second Englishman (behind Moore) to star in the role.
